    TAV IT was in the ICT Summit Eurasia’12

    Our Deputy General Manager Ersin İnankul attended the “Forum on Next Step in Mobile Business” as a panellist at the panel “Wars in Mobile Applications” under the ICT Summit 2012 organized in Haliç Congress Centre. In his speech to a great number of panel participants, İnankul talked about the current position of mobile communication in aviation industry, types of mobile applications and innovative applications introduced by TAV IT as well as the anticipated situation of mobile technologies in Turkey and around the world in 2023 and TAV’s investment plans in this respect.  Also, he made a video presentation during his speech and shared some statistical data and income information on Apple, Android, Windows and Blackberry applications and mentioned some of the anticipated technological developments at airports by 2020.



    PMO Office Manager Mehmet Akpinar also made a speech on the Importance of Mobile Applications in Aviation and TAV Mobile on the same day. In his speech, Akpınar gave information on TAV and TAV IT and shared some statistical data on aviation industry and mobile communication as well as Intelligent Mobile strategies and their use in our daily life. Akpinar also highlighted some technologies for the implementation of these intelligent mobile strategies and impacts of some innovative technologies such as NFC, QR Barcode, Self Boarding, Mobile Wayfinding and Augmented Reality on our daily lives. And he closed his speech with his words on the mobile journey of TAV Communications which started with TAV Mobile and the anticipated new projects in the near future.
